About This Site
In January, I changed a dream into an outlined, written down, very clear goal. I mapped a plan to get “Spirit Unbroken” published. I didn’t do this alone. I have strong, spirit-filled allies who passionately love my writing and are giving their time and heart to reading my first draft.
But one ally stepped forward and declared it absolutely essential that my message get out to everyone who would have their lives changed by reading my work. Linda told me she would, “sell her house and quit her job” - if she hadn’t just retired. She was just what I needed and the time was right for her.
We made our plans, sending our energy into the future with stunning clarity and passion. And then we took action. I wrote each morning from 4:30 until 8:30 or 9:00 and spent my afternoons working on my part of the to-do list Linda and I created.
The energy started swirling. It soared and embraced and then, one day, three weeks after we had begun our adventure together, I knew I was heading in the right direction, but I also recognized the path didn’t feel absolutely right. I felt like a heavy fog was rolling into the landscape of our efforts.
The destination stayed powerful and clear, but the pathway was in doubt until a couple of days later when I silently shouted there had to be a different way. I lined myself up with all the energy around “Spirit Unbroken” getting published and knew the Universe would show me the best road to travel.
The next day, one of my allies sent me an email that simply said, “Something to consider??!!!” The fog lifted. A new, dynamic, exciting map was laid before me.
A competition for the Next Top Author had opened up. Reading the outline of the contest and researching the people offering this amazing opportunity, I knew it was the perfect fit.
I signed up. I committed to a four-part contest that will challenge my capacity to communicate not only in written words, but in showing I can reach others who would like to use their power to vote in this competition to choose an author. It will be like American Idol for writers with passion and a message about mind/body/spirit and new thought.
I created this site to share my journey with you. I hope you put me in your favorites or bookmark this page and read my daily diary because I will be asking for your advice as I meet the challenges along the way. You don’t have to be an expert or have previous experience to have valuable insights. Intuitive hits have power.
And every time you come to this web site… or tell someone else about it… or smile because you recognize I am daring to embrace my dream, you will be helping me rise to the top of this delightful competition for writers who want to get published. You will be adding your energy to mine and others who have joined me. When that happens, the possibilities are endless.
